I find that having a corner furniture is a good idea for easily hiding things away from every new visitor's eyes but I'm sure there are other toy storage solutions that are classy enough for your living room.
Some Points To Remember When Choosing Toy Storage
- Having wicker boxes in shelves often solves the clutter and mess in the living room. The problem with this is that, as versatile as wicker is, it just sometimes doesn't fit with the rest of the furniture at home.
- Try to stay away from colorful furniture. Think of it this way. The toys inside are your childrens, but buy the living room storage for you.
- My main big problem is how to store big toys. For now, I have made a big cupboard which is in the living room for this. But most of the time, I just put it away (or get the kids to do it) everytime they finish playing with it.
The Best Toy Storage Solutions I have Found
The BenchWooden benches are great. They can be part of the living room but they also hide the clutter. However, there isn't always a way to segregate toys this way. But I think they're classy.

Wicker Storage
Wicker storage units are quite popular. They're usually the easiest to find plus there are reasonably priced ones that you can find online too. I personally like the Espresso color storage.
